The MOZART®

Specimen Tomosynthesis System

This system uses 3-D Tomosynthesis for intraoperative breast specimen imaging. Aiding in the removal of the entire tumor in a single procedure with maximum breast conservation.

Features

  • Enables surgeons to differentiate between healthy and involved tissue

  • Provides clear images of lesions through obstructions

  • Creates 3-D images of breast specimens in 1mm slices in a single operation

  • Identifies the location and extent of lesions in 3-D space

  • Provides more information than 2-D orthogonal views, allowing accurate confirmation of the excision

  • Facilitates a reduction in re-excision rates and superior tissue conservation

  • 12 cm x 15 cm detector size

  • 3-D Tomosynthesis and 2-D X-ray imaging

  • Integrated high resolution optical camera

  • Remote online diagnostic and training capability

  • No proprietary specimen containers required

  • Adjustable height for monitor and keyboard

  • Zero warm-up time and auto-calibration

  • Anti-microbial surfaces

  • DICOM compliant

Optical View

Perfect Placement

The best way to confirm the orientation of your specimen through the built in camera, can be activated by voice at any time.

Voice Control

Do It All Without Breaking Scrub!

Use voice commands for complete control over image viewing and navigation without touching the keyboard.

The Image Blender™

Find That Clip

Combines X-ray images and optical images together, identifying the location of your markers directly on the physical specimen.

K-VIEW™

An Image That Pops

A 2D image created from high-quality tomosynthesis data enhances details such as microcalcifications and linear structures while minimizing tissue overlap.

Automatic Specimen Alert

A Timely Reminder

Pro-actively alerts you if a specimen has not been removed from the cabinet, using the Optical camera.

Computer-Aided Detection

Smart Assistance

Automatically identifies likely microcalcifications, clips, etc. and highlights their precise locations within the specimen.
